Flower charms

Here's a set of flower charms :-) I must tell you, I'm all excited at the moment,we're back from our visit to Mum and Dad's now and while I was up there they gave me some money for Christmas and I've ordered a Wacom graphics tablet and it comes with the programme ArtRage free! The funny thing was I was trying to decide between a slightly more expensive tablet or a slightly cheaper one and buying ArtRage as well, which I've fancied for ages, and then I found the one I was looking at came with ArtRage anyway - so I'm happy and shall be looking out for the Postman! Hopefully it'll mean lots more digi-fun in the New Year!

Art Deco frame

Only two freebies today, after losing his job a month ago, my Husband was offered another job today and starts on Monday! Woo hoo! We had planned to go and visit my Mum and Dad at the end of next week for a little pre-Christmas get-together, but he'll now be working so we're going as soon as I finish work tomorrow but as we're completely unprepared I've got lots to do this evening. Its been a difficult few weeks but we can relax and enjoy Christmas now! I have to say its been designing and blogging and some of your lovely comments that have kept me going so thank you all XXX. I had an e-mail from a very helpful lady today who had been trying to download the Music paper without success - and I know there have been problems for some in downloading the Calendar pages. The problem seems to relate to jpgs as opposed to zip files - she e-mailed 4Shared and this is part of the e-mail she got in response:-

Hello,

Thank you for letting us know. It was impossible to download file due to the
temporary technical problems. Now everything works fine. Please check.
If the problem persists let us know. We'll do our best to investigate the issue."

So it would appear that the problem lays with 4Shared rather than me (phew!) and that they are working on resolving it. I would suggest that if you have problems downloading you leave it a little while and try again, or please do feel free to e-mail me and I will always be happy to e-mail anything back to you.

Music Paper

I quite often design a backing paper and then end up using it later for cardmaking rather than digital scrapbooking. This one worked the other way round, I was asked to do a card for a friend's Dad's Birthday on a classical music theme and made an A4 backing paper to use, and then liked it so much I've re-made it as a 12 x 12! Brushes are from the wonderful Obsidian Dawn - whenever I get an idea and go looking for the perfect brush, she always has exactly what I'm looking for.

Collect-a-calendar - January

I'm blogging this one nice and early as I won't have too much time later - hopefully we're going to put up our Christmas decorations today and I have to finish making my Christmas cards this weekend - I'm back working full time at the moment and the blog takes up so much time I often forget I'm supposed to be a cardmaker as well! Introducing.........

.... a new member of the Elemental Pixie Design Team (well actually the only other member apart from me!) - my 9 year old Daughter Isobel! Bel's been playing around with Photoshop Elements for a couple of weeks and came up with this very cute bear border, virtually all on her own with just a couple of hints and tips from me. Well done Bel!
